Community Donation!
A huge thank you to KL Hockey for their generation of a bag full of sports balls. Their “Sparkle and Swagger” event raised funds for local schools for donations of sports equipment. A big thank you to the Derusha family for dropping off this wonderful donation.
Skipping Club Continues!
Skipping club started last week! Any students who wish to learn to skip or learn new skipping skills are welcome to join. Skipping club will take place on Wednesday at first recess for Grades 1 to 3 and on Friday at first recess for Grades 4 to 8.
Parkview’s Got Talent!
Congratulations to all students who were selected to be in this year’s Talent Show! These students were given a letter to take home to their families to inform them of our talent show date which will be this Tuesday, May 12th in the Parkview Gym at 11:30am (doors open at 11:10am). Parents/family members, please bring your letter to the gym for this event as it is your ticket for 2 family members to see the show. We look forward to seeing you there!
Nationwide Lacrosse
Nationwide Lacrosse will be at Parkview on Wednesday and Friday next week. We have some Peterborough Lakers coming to show our Panthers how to play lacrosse.
Track and Field
Our Panthers have started their training! Our Primary Track and Field event will take place on May 19th and our Junior and Intermediate Meet will take place on May 21st.
EQAO
Between May 25 and June 9 our Grades 3 and 6 classes will be writing the annual EQAO provincial assessment.
