Also, a huge shout out to Addi and Mavis for completing the blue prints that needed to be submitted to the judges. Your help was greatly appreciated.

GIRLS AT BAT
Parkview has been chosen to be an affiliate school for the Jays Care Foundation. This year, we will be running the “Girls at Bat” program. Girls At Bat is an introductory level baseball program designed to reduce some of the biggest barriers anyone identifying* as a girl may face when accessing or participating in sport. Some of these barriers include, but are not limited to, sport being too competitive, having a perceived lack of skill, limited access to opportunity, and low confidence. Girls At Bat works to remove these barriers by creating spaces that empower and centre the leadership and voices of girls and provide opportunities for them to learn and play sport amongst a resilient and inclusive community.
Any interested girls in grades 4-6 are encouraged to sign-up on the gym doors starting Tuesday, April 7th.
There will also be some leadership opportunities available for girls in grades 7 & 8. Please see Ms. Brown if you are interested.
